School games

School Games Active Championships

The School Games Active Championships is a national activity campaign to help young people across the UK to #StayInWorkOut using the video-based platform powered by TopYa!

Primary and secondary-aged children can join the in at any time with free active challenges being set via videos within a designated School Games version of the TopYa! Active app. All they need to do is download the app, register as a player and type in the Invite Code 23880.

New challenges are available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

NHS walking app

Free 'Active 10' walking tracker app

Public Health England has created a free Active 10 app to enable you to monitor and gradually increase your walking levels over time. By setting yourself goals and tracking your progress on the app you will be able to walk yourself to better health.

Staying active during lockdown

A recent article published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine outlined evidence-based examples of how to build physical activity into our lives during lockdown. Accompanying the journal, researchers produced an info-graphic with ideas on remaining active, staying healthy and having the confidence to start being more active.
