As we approach a long weekend with lovely weather forecasted, please remember to follow the guidance provided by the Government and Public Health England and stay at home to save lives. Should you need to go out to get essentials or medicine please remember to follow social distancing rules

All staff are encouraged to continue to work from home where possible. If you have any qusetions in the first instance please speak to your manager who will be fully supportive of you working frome home. Please remember that GDPR continues to apply whilst working in an agile setting
Please continue to cancel or postpone non-essential meetings or carry these out virtually or over the phone or via Microsoft Teams as this is rolled out to colleagues
If you experience symptoms of COVID-19 please follow Public Health England guidelines and self-isolate for 14 days. In the event that this happens, please speak with your manager to confirm next steps
Council officers supporting Thurrock Coronavirus Community Action spoke to over 900 vulnerable residents during the first week of the helpline and online enquiry form launching
