Full closure 7 to 10 February 

This weekend’s closure takes place from 9pm on Friday 7 February until 5am on Monday 10 February. The road will be closed in both directions between the Orsett Cock roundabout (A128 junction) and Stanford-le-Hope (A1014 junction).

Long delays are expected and all non-local traffic is urged to avoid the A13 and use alternative routes such as the A130, A127 and M25.

To help keep local traffic on the move, Buckingham Hill Road, Linford, and Orsett Road in Horndon on the Hill will be closed, and a temporary one-way system will be installed in Gordon Road and Victoria Road in Horndon on the Hill.

Linford Household Waste and Recycling Centre will be open as normal and can be accessed via the Linford end.
