The NHS Healthy Start scheme helps young families on low incomes to buy healthy food, vitamins and milk. If youβre more than 10 weeks pregnant or have children under four and receive certain benefits, you could be eligible for NHS Healthy Start.
This week is Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week 2025 (30 June - 6 July), a national campaign led by Resolve UK to shine a spotlight on the impact of antisocial behaviour and promote safer, stronger communities.
1 in 9 UK adults experience ASB at least once a week.
From persistent noise and vandalism to harassment and intimidation, ASB can severely impact mental health, safety, and quality of life.
You can report issues to us on our website such as graffiti, abandoned vehicle, noise, rowdy or nuisance behaviour, neighbour disputes, littering, and fly-tipping.
You can also report ASB on the Devon and Cornwall Police website, but in an emergency always call 999.
New 'task force' to tackle anti-social behaviour in Dawlish
A new anti-social behaviour task and finish group has been set up by Dawlish Town Council following concerns from residents about issues such as vandalism, graffiti, and disruptive behaviour.
The six-member group will investigate current problems and explore practical, costed solutions to present to the town council in September. Recent incidents at Manor Gardens play park - including broken glass, human waste, and a burnt picnic bench - have highlighted the need for action.
The group will assess the scale of anti-social behaviour, consult with the community and police, and explore options like monitored CCTV and community patrols.
Residents are encouraged to report incidents by emailing asb-wg@dawlish.gov.uk to help build a clear picture of the issues.Β Β
