If you are a Devon County Council care leaver, did you know that you can get up to 100% off your Council Tax bill until you turn 25?

This is a fantastic opportunity to ease money pressures as you transition into independent living. If you haven't seen this reduction on your bill yet, don't worry. Simply speak to your personal adviser or visit our website for all the details.

Remember, you might also be eligible for other discounts like the Single Person Discount or Council Tax Reduction. Make sure to apply for these too and save even more!

Learn something new with Learn Devon!

Your wellbeing matters, which is why we are delighted to share that Learn Devon has a variety of new courses starting soon, both across Devon and online.

From maths skills and digital photography tasters to digital skills for work, ESOL writing, mental health and wellbeing, internet confidence, and fun reading activities for children, there’s something for everyone.

Courses are happening in Tavistock, Okehampton, and nearby areas, as well as online, with sessions running until 24 September.

Are you an artist, arts worker, producer, curator, technician, educator, or freelancer working in the visual arts across the South West? If so, this is your opportunity to make your voice heard.

As part of our Council Plan to develop an Arts and Culture Strategy for West Devon, we’re helping to raise awareness of the 2025 Visual Arts Survey, which is being run by Visual Arts South West .

The survey encourages local creatives to take part and collects information to support campaigns for better pay, improved access, and greater investment in the arts.
