In partnership with the council, Tamar Energy Community are holding an event on thermal imaging cameras and heat pumps at Bere Alston Village Hall tomorrow - 13 September.

The event will reflect on last year's findings of our thermal imaging camera scheme in the area, and look at how the cameras can be used as a diagnostic tool in your home.

The event will also look at how heat pumps work and why they can be so efficient.

The hall will be open from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Parking scam alert – fake QR codes

parking

We’ve discovered more fraudulent QR code stickers on some of our neighbouring Pay & Display machines. These QR codes take you to a scam website.

Stay safe when paying to park:

  • Download the official PayByPhone app ONLY from trusted sources:  App Store Google Play
  • Remember: We never use QR codes in our car parks.
  • Our teams check machines and signs daily for fake stickers.

For more advice on safe parking, visit our website.

Please share to help others avoid being caught out!

This is your chance to help shape how licensing works locally. From opening hours and noise levels to community safety, your views matter.

Take part in the consultation now.

Don’t miss the opportunity to have your say.
