Our Election Team will be contacting all our residents personally over the next month asking them to confirm their details for the annual Election Canvass. Once details have been confirmed or updated, voting in local and national elections can continue.
Our team will contact you either by email or letter.
- You will receive a letter if we don’t have your email address on file
- If we do have your email details, we will contact you electronically
- We will not ask for any personal data, we will direct you to a page on our secure website to confirm your information
Whichever method we contact you by, if possible, please respond online. By completing this form digitally, we can quickly and efficiently update your records. Envelopes are however sent with letters for those who do not have online access.

We’re reviewing our Statement of Licensing Policy – and we want to hear your views.
This important document sets out how our licenses regulate a range of businesses including pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels, off-licences, and late-night takeaways.
It helps ensure that these businesses operate safely and responsibly, while balancing the needs of residents, visitors and local communities.
Whether you’ve got views on opening hours, noise, public safety, or the mix of venues in your area – now is the time to get involved.
Your feedback will help shape the updated policy and guide how we make licensing decisions in the future.
Have your say today.

The Dartmoor National Park Partnership Plan is being reviewed – and your views matter.
Dartmoor is a unique, living landscape that needs protecting so it can be enjoyed for generations to come. The Partnership Plan sets out priorities and actions to do just that – and now it’s time to update it.
Dartmoor National Park Authority and other partners are working together to refresh the Plan. To make it a success, they need input from people who live, work or visit the Park.
Have your say
A public survey is now open. It takes around 10 minutes and will help shape the updated Plan, due in 2027 – just in time for Dartmoor’s 75th anniversary.
Visit Your Dartmoor to complete the survey and find out more.
