The following people have won the seats for the four wards in West Devon.
- Tavistock - Debo Sellis of the Conservative party
- Yelverton Rural - Michael Fife Cook of Reform UK
- Okehampton Rural - James Grainger of Reform UK
- Hatherleigh and Chagford - Sue Davies of Reform UK

 Graham Reed of the Liberal Democrats party has been elected to West Devon Borough Council.
They join Cllrs Holly Greenberry-Pullen and Jeff Moody as one of the three ward members for Tavistock North on the Borough Council.

The votes are in for the Tavistock Neighbourhood Plan Referendum election which took place yesterday.
Residents voted Yes for the Plan with a majority of 87.7%
This means we will use their Neighbourhood Plan for Tavistock to help us when deciding planning applications in the neighbourhood area.

Mayor for West Devon, Cllr Debo Sellis has given thanks to the West Devon stars who are making outstanding contributions to their local communities.
The 2024/2025 awards took place in early spring and highlighted just some of the selfless hard work which goes on across the Borough.
This year’s winners are:
- Under 18s Award - Lauren Blamey
- Over 18s Award - Peter Brennan
- Organisation Award – West Devon CVS (Karen Nolan & Billie Burnett representing)
- Green Award – Frances Rickwood
- Long Service Award – Mike Watson

The 80th anniversary of VE Day will take place on Thursday 8 May.
VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, commemorates the surrender of German forces to the Allied powers at the end of World War II.
