Our Electoral annual canvas is starting in the Borough. You may receive one of two documents from us.
If you receive a letter confirming the names of people already living at your address, and there are no changes, you don’t need to respond. If there are names missing or someone listed has moved out then we need to know.
Residents who receive a four-page A4 booklet (Canvass Form CF) must respond by law, even if the details printed on the form are correct, and provide the information requested on the form. Where necessary, please use the security codes printed on the booklet.

As part of our work to improve the energy efficiency of homes and fight climate change, we are working with partners Tamar Energy Community to help future-proof some of the most poorly performing energy rated properties in West Devon.
You could save on your energy use and bills with a free energy efficiency upgrade to your property if you:
- Own your home
- Have heating that isn’t main’s gas
- Have an energy EPC rating of D, E, F, G
- Have a total household income of less than £36,000 per year

The 'Let's Talk' team from South Devon and Dartmoor Community Safety Partnership is developing sessions specifically for dads and male carers.
'Let’s Talk' provides online support and advice to parents of young people aged from 7 to 18 years. It's now looking to provide specialist support for dads and male carers in the coming months.
To help design the best support, dads and male carers can take part in an online survey to help understand their views and how best to provide support and advice.

We have an exciting career opportunity for a new climbing Arboriculturist to work within a small, friendly and crucial essential service as part of the wider Grounds Maintenance department.
