During the overnight count for the General Election 2024, the following MPs in these constituencies were elected:

  • Torridge & Tavistock Constituency - Sir Geoffrey Cox, Conservative Party with 16,049 votes
  • Central Devon - Mel Stride, Conservative Party with 16,831 votes.
  • South West Devon - Rebecca Smith, Conservative Party with 17,916 votes.

Housing Advice and Homelessness has never been more challenging or exciting. The recent declaration of a Housing Crisis in West Devon has resulted in a renewed focus and drive to find creative and innovative solutions to housing needs across our area.

We want to recruit an extra two Housing Options Officers to join us. We're looking for people who work well as part of a team and are experienced at building excellent working relationships with multiple agencies and disciplines.
