 The outbreak of Cryptosporidium in the Brixham, Hillhead and Kingswear areas continues .
South West Water's 'boil water notice' means that anyone using tap water in the area should boil it before drinking, preparing and cooking food or brushing teeth.
Please carefully follow the advice of South West Water, which you can find online at their website here.
You can collect bottled water at the three following locations from:
- Churston Car Boot Field, TQ4 7BQ
- Broadsands Car Park, TQ4 6HX
- Freshwater Quarry Car Park, TQ5 8BA
If you're on South West Water's Priority Services Register, you'll automatically receive bottled water throughout the boil water notice period.
If you need support collecting water, there is also a ‘dial a bottle’ service, which you can call on: 0344 3461010
South West Water has also set up a dedicated phone line for businesses and retailers about the incident, so they can discuss any impact this situation may have had on their businesses.
