As part of New Homes Week, we are shining a spotlight on what we are doing to tackle the housing crisis.
Housing is one of our top priorities, highlighted in our new Council Plan.
We want to provide new and genuinely affordable new homes for local people by:
- Helping communities bring affordable housing to their areas
- Working with housing partners to improve the number of affordable, safe and good quality homes
- Bringing forward more low-cost ownership homes for the people who need it most
- Providing even more opportunities for our residents to get onto the property ladder, such as Shared Ownership
