Financial support for communities

Two one pound coins stacked on a five pound note. Money.

More financial help is on the way for residents and businesses across West Devon to support with the current cost-of-living.

Self-employed residents could have more help with paying their Council Tax bills, and up to 400 businesses across the Borough could benefit from rate reliefs.

With housing very much at the top of the agenda, we are also doing all we can to help tackle the housing crisis - this includes charging Council Tax premiums on empty homes and doubling Council Tax on second homes from April 2025.
