We've launched a survey to try and find out the problems that people face when cycling and walking in the district.
The survey is part of a joint project between South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council to support more people in the area to be able to choose walking, wheeling or cycling for their local journeys.
Cycling UK and Phil Jones Associates are working on behalf of the councils to understand the barriers that local people face and identify solutions that will be the most beneficial for improving quality of life and protecting the environment.

If you’re involved with a group that improves people’s wellbeing, reduces isolation, helps families eat nutritiously or aims to provide a warm safe space this winter, you can still apply for a Devon County Council Growing Communities Fund grant.
The County Council has awarded more than £530,000 to 300 different local projects, many of which are helping communities cope with continued high costs of food and bills.
