We're supporting Tavistock Pride

tavi pride

We're proudly flying a Pride flag outside our offices, to show support for this weekend's Tavistock Pride event and for the entire LGBTQ+ community across the Borough.

In Tavistock, a special festival event has been organised in The Meadows tomorrow, Saturday 1 July, by Tavistock Pride, from 1 p.m.

A parade will leave the Meadows to circle around the town at midday. We'll have a stand at the event - so come along and say hello!

Find out what people said about your area

my place

In the summer we launched our 'My Place, My Views' survey which told us about your experiences accessing facilities and services where you live.

Your views will directly inform our future approach to our Joint Local Plan and the services we provide.

There are several ways to explore what you, our residents have told us.

  • Use our interactive dashboard to view what residents say about the area they live (click on our interactive maps, graphs and tables.)
  • View our Future Talking Points report which provides recurring topics and themes raised during the consultation which will inform our future work
  • View the original consultation page to see comments and our Questions and Answers page.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the survey and we look forward to more feedback in the future. We know there is still a long way to go in improving how we consult and communicate your priorities as well as championing them to other public services. We are, however, proud that steps to modernise our services have been recognised nationally at the Planning Awards 2023.

Keep up to date on all things Joint Local Plan by signing up to our planning eNewsletter.
