Get Help From NHS 111

Get to the help you need NHS 111

NHS Devon is urging all of us to use NHS 111 to get expert help and to take pressure off our busy Devon hospitals.

Staff at NHS 111 can direct people to minor injuries units and urgent treatment centres. This will ensure that people get to the right place for treatment quickly and may reduce their waiting times.

Anyone contacting 111 who needs emergency medical care from a hospital will be given direct access to the emergency department.

Crowdfunding to Support our Local Clubs

Sport England

Sport England is matching crowdfunding up to £10,000 to support sports clubs and organisations with recovery and reinvention following the coronavirus pandemic.

Crowdfunding is a great way to raise essential funds during a critical time.

The common misconception is that during times of crisis, donations and charitable giving has suffered, but this is not the case with Active Together.

As of 1 January this year, they've invested £3.26m, with a further £7.07m raised from supporters within local communities.

There have been more than 83,000 supporters, pledging to more than 640 campaigns, with the average pledge being £85.

Campaigns typically run for 28 days but take a few weeks to create – so will take around six weeks in total.

So, if your local club is looking to upgrade facilities or is struggling with the energy crisis, why not look into crowdfunding?
