West Devon Borough Council, South Hams District Council and Plymouth City Council have launched a new consultation asking local residents what they like about their neighbourhood and what could be improved.
My Place, My Views consists of a simple survey and interactive map, which asks people how they feel about:
- Their local facilities, services and open spaces
- The types of places they like most and why
- Using online services.
- The places they would like to see change in the next five to ten years.
The more people who take part, the more we will understand how residents feel about the areas they live in and what changes they may want to see in the future for our city, towns, villages and countryside.
The comments will help shape important future conversations about the Joint Local Plan and boost our understanding of priorities in your areas. The published results will be shared with Parish Councils, Neighbourhood Forums and Neighbourhood Plan Groups to be used locally. The survey is open for comments until 5pm on 17 October 2022 and residents can fill out the survey by visiting: https://pshwd.commonplace.is/
We would appreciate your support with advertising this consultation using the poster (which you can download by clicking here) and sharing details online via your website and social media where possible. We suggest using the above text.
If you would like any further information or you need us to supply you with more posters or paper copies of the survey please e-mail jointlocalplan@plymouth.gov.uk
We will attend a variety of events to publicise this consultation and answer your questions. Details will be available on the My Place, My Views website.
