Dear Town and Parish colleagues,
We know that many of you are supporting residents who are providing safe accommodation for Ukrainians that have fled the conflict in their country. It's therefore important that we say thank you for the roles that you have played in supporting those residents to date.
Across the South Hams and West Devon, we have already welcomed 117 Ukrainian guests, with a further 224 guests expected in the coming weeks.
Over the past few weeks, we have received greater clarity over the roles expected for councils to play and generally about how the scheme will operate.
With that in mind, we wanted to offer town and parish colleagues the opportunity to join us for a hour long briefing on the Homes for Ukraine scheme, which will include plenty of time for Q&A.
