£75,000 cultural and events grant fund open for applications
Stoke-on-Trent City Council has launched the latest round of the Cultural and Events Project Grants, totalling £75,000 to support local organisations with their cultural activity.
The grants will empower organisations in the sector to deliver a diverse range of cultural activities that will enable more residents and visitors to participate in the cultural verve of Stoke-on-Trent. The closing date for applications is Friday 12 May 2023.

Revival trains the next generation of doctors during a national shortage
New scheme launched to tackle anti-social behaviour and improve neighbourhoods
Affordable housing provider Staffs Housing has launched a new scheme which provides anti-social behaviour (ASB) surgeries, so that its residents can report incidents in confidence.
It is also setting up new multi-agency workshops for MPs and local police in a bid to tackle the issue of ASB and improve the lives of local residents. Find out about what the ASB surgeries offer.

Stoke Social going from strength to strength
Stoke Social is a weekly club held every Wednesday at the bet365 Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent for older adults who may feel isolated. The first session took place in October 2022 and the number of people taking part has grown significantly since then.
The group is a joint initiative between North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust and Stoke City Football Club as part of the Community Mental Health Transformation Programme. Find out more about the Stoke Social group | online.

Sir Julian Hartley visits Harplands Hospital
North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust recently welcomed Sir Julian Hartley, Chief Executive, NHS Providers, to its Harplands Hospital site in Stoke-on-Trent.
