Dementia Action Week is a national event that unites individuals, workplaces and the wider community to take action and improve the lives of people affected by dementia. Watch out for further information about this year's event via the Dementia Care ebulletin over the next few weeks.

The Memory Clinic in six easy steps

 

A new video to explain the Memory Clinic pathway is available online. Starting with the initial enquiry at the GP’s, it also gives details about the assessment and treatment process at the clinic. Online reminiscence programme


Stoke City Football Club Community Trust and Approach Dementia Support have teamed up to create a reminiscence programme. Stoke Memories is available online for anyone with a dementia diagnosis, to help recall and reminisce cherished memories and life experiences from the past. The next session takes place on Wednesday 28 April from 2 to 3pm and will be attended by Stoke City legends Denis Smith and John Ruggiero.
