Could your team take on the Potters 'Arf? Plus - great sign up offer!
Does your business want to do something to build team spirit? Are you the sort of group who like a challenge?
What about taking on other organisations from across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and beyond in the incredible Hanley Economic Potters 'Arf Marathon on September 26! We're looking for more businesses and organisations to take part this year - in an event that will have so many benefits for Stoke-on-Trent.
You can enter relay squads of up to four - so colleagues don't have to take on the full course. Alternatively, staff can be signed up in the individual 13.1-mile run and complete the route together. Or what about the half marathon walking event, which sets off earlier and has an amazing atmosphere?
OFFER: Businesses or organisations that sign up three or more relay teams will receive £5 off each relay group entry. Businesses or organisations that sign up 10 or more individual adult runners or walkers will receive £2.50 off each half marathon runner or walker entry.
To take advantage of this offer, please email potters.arf@stoke.gov.uk or call 01782 234402.
Alternatively, for smaller groups, entries have OPENED and you can sign up now for this amazing, inspiring, community-spirited event!
We want the Potters 'Arf to be a shining ray of hope in 2021 - so we'd encourage as many businesses and organisations as possible to get involved. It is one of the most unique races in the UK, with fantastic Stokie support; places for all; a wonderful atmosphere at the city centre finish; special Potteries medals, and great challenges.
Just imagine the incredible feeling as you and your colleagues cross the line to cheers from the crowd!
All participants who complete the course receive a goody bag and special Potters ’Arf medal created by Wade Ceramics.
There is also a 1,000-metre junior race for youngsters aged six to 15 years old.
Now vaccinations are well under way in Stoke-on-Trent and across the UK, and given the recent announcements from the Government, the team are very optimistic that the race will go ahead.
The safety of residents and participants is of the upmost importance and we'll regularly review the national guidance in the run-up to the event.
Deferred entrants from the cancelled 2020 event have been contacted separately with information on how to enter with a unique deferral code. Deferred entrants have until May 30 2021 to register. For information on deferred entries, email potters.arf@stoke.gov.uk
