Cakes, Cookies and Coffee Commence Again
Whilst we continue to have some restrictions on our everyday life, we hope that Hanley Park provides a peaceful green oasis for you to enjoy.
The Café in the main pavilion is now open during the day for take-away only, most days from 11am-4pm.
People must adhere to the social distancing and follow the guidelines laid out by café staff.
Any food / drinks bought must be eaten outside.
Also, as a reminder, Hanley Park is in a Public Space Protection Order – so no alcohol should be consumed in the Park.
(The only exemption to this rule is when an external event provider applies for a licence to serve alcohol. Then any alcoholic drinks MUST be consumed within a special fenced area).
Whilst you can now spend more time outdoors, remember that you can only meet as a group of up to 6 people. Different household within the group of 6 people must be 2m apart.
Please keep 2m apart from all other people in Hanley Park.
Sport and Sports Pitches in Hanley Park
We are continuing to keep the five-aside football pitch closed and the cricket nets (in line with government guidelines). For those who want to play cricket, you can still play on the cricket square in the top field.
We have opened the tennis courts (as tennis is a non-contact sport).
