Food, Glorious Food Trail -  Tuesdays – Saturdays in March

Solve the clues and find the ceramic food hidden around the museum. Free pencil and prize draw entry for everyone taking part, £1 plus admission.

 

Mother’s Day Shopping Discount -Thursday 5, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March

Save 15% when you spend £5 or more in the shop. Choose from gifts, cards, books and ceramics made or decorated on site. Admission tickets not included. The shop and café welcome non-museum visitors.

 

Toddler Thursday - Fun for the Under 5s - 19 March

Learn, play and explore in our sessions especially for under 5’s and their grown-ups. £1 per child (normal admission applies if you wish to visit the rest of the museum). Booking essential - please call us on 01782 237777. 10.30 - 11.30 am. Due to space restrictions we allow one adult per child but if you require additional carers please let us know.

 

 

Bone to Bone China – The Story of a Potters’ Mill 1857 to 2020 - Saturday 21 March

Bernard Lovatt is a volunteer at Shirley’s 1857 Bone and Flint Mill in Etruria, the only remaining operational steam powered potters’ mill in the world and a scheduled monument of national importance. He will speak about the processing and milling of materials required to mix with clay to make pottery, especially bone, flint and china stone necessary to make English Bone China. Samples of materials can be handled and a video of the mill in operation will be shown.

11.30 am, free (normal admission applies to the rest of the museum, please call 01782 237777 to book a place.

Neck End Knitters - Saturday 28 March

If you enjoy knitting or would like to learn in a friendly, historic setting bring your needles and wool and come along to our knitting group. The Neck End knitters meet 11 am – 12.30 pm in the Gladstone Café on the last Saturday of the month.

 

Gladstone Annual Pass

Our annual passes are great value and mean you can visit the museum as often as you want for an whole year.

Adult passes cost £11.50 each – children and concessions £9.50 each - cheaper than two visits.
