New mobile app option for visitors

A new mobile app has been launched for visitors to Stoke-on-Trent so that they can quickly and easily find out information about the city 24 hours a day from wherever they are.

The option has been made available for mobile users by Stoke-on-Trent City Council to coincide with the start of the British Ceramic Biennial when thousands of visitors are set to visit the international ceramics showcase in the next five weeks. To date, the Biennial has recorded over 250,000 visits and produced economic activity in excess of £7.5million.

The app aims to improve visitors’ experience in Stoke-on-Trent and with xx visitors every year to Stoke-on-Trent, content is being targeted to help people get the most out of their visits. Downloads, maps and information timetables will be available alongside special offers and promotions. It can also be used by residents and others in the city to find out what’s going on in and around the area.

Anyone downloading the app will also have a chance to win a prize with a family pass at Gladstone Museum up for grabs with all those who download the app between 6 September and 31 October 2019 being entered into a prize draw.
