Hanley Park Volunteers

Volunteer community park rangers

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is currently recruiting for volunteers to walk around Hanley Park and help out with activities and events.

The Voluntary Community Park Rangers (VCPR) would go out in groups and provide a point of contact for visitors, offering information on facilities, activities and directions as well keeping the park tidy and carrying out general duties.

Volunteers would be asked to commit to at least one five-hour shift per month and would be based in a new community hub building in the park.

All volunteers are given training on their roles and responsibilities, safety, first aid, customer service and would wear a uniform that indicates they are a volunteer ranger.

If you are interested in getting involved and want to be a part of the park's amazing transformation get in touch with the park liaison team using the details listed below.
