Our roads (Jadu)

This week the city council will be:

  • resurfacing Anchor Road  in Longton, we are now working during the day from Upper Cross Street to Somerton Way.
  • carrying out pre patching for preventative work in the Trent Vale, Longton and Sandyford area.

Working to improve your roads and footpaths

While every effort will be made to cause as little disruption as possible, such a large programme of work will inevitably cause some delays to your journeys.

Thank you in advance for your patience and co-operation during this very busy period.

Help to keep our staff safe by slowing down as you drive through the roadworks.

Save time, do it online: report potholes, problems with signs

Did you know, you can now report a lot more on our website? Using a pin drop on a map, you can tell us exactly where the problem is - right from your phone. And if someone else has already reported the problem, you can add your email to it to be updated when it's repaired.

Roadworks carried out by other organisations

Many of the roadworks you encounter when travelling around the city won't be carried out by the city council, but by utilities companies such as water, gas or electric.

Click here to see what roadworks are planned for your area and set up alerts for your regular routes. You can also see who is carrying out the work.

Please note: there are times when work has to be carried out as an unplanned emergency and these works may not be on the map.

Has work been carried out recently in your area?

We need your feedback to make sure we are doing a good job and learn where there are any problems.
