Have your say on plans to bring together housing services

Residents are being asked for their views on plans to bring together housing services for the benefit of people living and working in Stoke-on-Trent.

The city council is asking for feedback on the proposal to integrate a number of services with its newly-formed repairs and maintenance company Unitas Stoke-on-Trent Ltd.

Pending the outcome of the consultation, tenants will see an improvement in services and a speedier response for requests as up to 280 council employees transfer to Unitas.

Pictures from iconic ‘Face of Stoke-on-Trent’ to go on tour

Photos of people’s faces from across Stoke-on-Trent will feature in five pop-up exhibitions as part of an iconic art project.

The Face of Stoke-on-Trent is a giant photo mosaic in the city centre, created from 3,550 images to reveal a main picture of 23-year-old Jozef Clark.

The People’s Picture - run by award-winning artist Helen Marshall - was commissioned by Stoke-on-Trent City Council to create the free outdoor installation and pop-up exhibitions, working alongside local arts organisation B Arts.
