We have lots coming up this February including a workshop for adults and plenty of fun events at Half Term....

Alice Trail

Tuesdays – Saturdays during February

Can you solve the clues in our Alice in Wonderland Trail and find the special plates hidden around the museum? Free pencil and entry into a prize draw for everyone who takes part. £1 plus admission.

Bone China Flower Making Workshop, Saturday 11 February

Make your own beautiful china blooms with help from our expert flowermaker. 11am - 12.30pm, £12 - includes museum admission. Please call 01782 237777 to book.

Toddler Thursday, 16th February

Our latest Toddler Thursday will be all about chickens. See a hen from our natural history collection, hear the Story of The little Red Hen and make a dangly legged chicken to keep.

10.30 - 11.30am, £1 per child, one adult per participating child. To book your place please call us on 01782 237777.

Half Term Pottery Painting

Tuesday 21 – Saturday 25 February

Paint a piece of pottery to take home as a unique souvenir of your visit to Gladstone, from £1 plus admission. Choose from mini bottle ovens, animals, flowers and special Alice in Wonderland themed items.

Half Term Craft Activity – Mad Hatter’s Mice

Tuesday 21 February

Make a mouse hiding in a teacup in our drop in clay craft activity. 11am – 12.30pm and 1.15 – 3pm. £1 plus admission.

Alice in Wonderland comes to Gladstone

Wednesday 22 February

Meet characters from the classic Lewis Carroll tale at the museum. Spend time with Alice, the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit and play games with the Queen of Hearts. Free with admission, 11am – 3pm.

Half Term Craft Activity – Crazy Card People, Thursday 23 February

Join our Alice in Wonderland themed drop in craft activity and make your own crazy card person. 11am – 3pm, free with admission.

Half Term Wildlife Day

Thursday 23 February

Find out more about our local wildlife with the Staffordshire Wildlife Trusts team and take part in hedgehog themed craft activities. 11am – 3pm, included in admission.
