Here's what we have coming up in October.....

Coiled Pot Making Workshop - Saturday 1 October

Make your own decorative pot to take home with you by handbuilding and coiling clay. This 1.5 hour session includes help from our expert ceramicist,11am, £12 - includes museum admission. Please call 01782 237777 to book.

Spooky Skull Trail - Tuesdays – Saturdays during October

Can you find the spooky skulls hidden all around the museum? Free gift and entry into a prize draw for everyone who takes part. £1 plus admission.

Storytelling cafe writers

Storytelling Café - Saturday 8 October

Join Renegade Writers, Room in the Roof and Newcastle Library Group and listen to local writers reading their work, 1 – 4pm. This event is free but normal admission applies to the rest of the museum.

 

Toddler Thursday - Fun for the Under 5’s - Thursday 20 October

Learn, play and explore in our sessions especially for under 5’s and their parents or carers. £1 per child but normal admission applies if you wish to visit the rest of the museum. Booking essential – call 01782 237777. 10.30 - 11.30am.

Half Term Pottery Painting - Tuesday 25 – Saturday 30 October

Paint a piece of pottery to take home as a unique souvenir of your visit to Gladstone, from £1 plus admission. Choose from mini bottle ovens, animals, flowers and special  Halloween themed items.

 

Half Term Craft Activity - Spooky Monsters - Tuesday 25 October

Make your own spooky monster out of clay to take home with you, 11am – 12.30pm and 1.15 – 3pm. £1 plus admission.

 

Magic show at Gladstone

Half Term Fun Day - Wednesday 26 October

Join us for facepainting, balloon modelling and magic shows – all FREE with admission. 11am – 3.30pm.

 

Half Term Craft Activity - Thursday 27 October

Take part in our creepy craft activity, 11am – 3pm, free with admission.
