 Annual survey reflections
Building on your feedback
Thank you to everyone who completed the 2025 colleague-in-training annual survey. We're grateful for the time and honesty you invested in sharing your experiences.
This week, we will share a detailed reflections bulletin highlighting the main themes identified, areas where improvements have been made and where further action is required. It will also set out the specific steps being taken to address your feedback and continue strengthening the support we provide.

Inclusion Matters Group - express your interest
Launching this month
We’re excited to announce the launch of the Inclusion Matters Group in March 2026 - a new staff-led forum dedicated to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across MWL Lead Employer.
We're seeking EDI Champions from all regions who are passionate about sharing their lived experiences and helping to shape policies, processes and support systems to better reflect our diverse workforce. Champions will work alongside our Leadership Team and meet virtually on a quarterly basis in a safe and supportive environment.
We understand the pressures of training and are flexible around the level of commitment you can offer - your voice truly matters.

Please complete the form by Friday 6th March

 Building an inclusive training environment
Resources and support for colleagues-in-training
Our colleagues-in-training come from diverse backgrounds, bringing skills, perspectives and different experiences that strengthen teams across the NHS.
1346 of our colleagues-in-training are International medical graduates, reflecting the global community that contributes to our workforce and patient care.
International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (21st March) is coming up soon, and marks a reminder of the role we all play in creating workplaces where everyone can thrive. Explore our resources to learn more, support colleagues and help embed inclusion in everyday practice:
By engaging with these resources, we can ensure every colleague-in-training feels valued and supported throughout your journey.
