It's our hosts responsibility to update any colleague-in-training sickness absences in real time within Electronic Staff Record (ESR).
Why is it important to record absence?
Once an absence is recorded in ESR, this gives us sight of the absence and ensures the following:
- It allows our processes to be followed to ensure colleagues are appropriately supported when required
- It ensures accuracy of pay, as payroll runs from the records that have been entered into ESR and failure to do so may result in a overpayment

Movember 2023
Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health, focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

The annual event involves the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of the above. You can find many valuable Movember resources on the NHS Employers website.
Far too many men are in the mindset that they should stay quiet to protect their masculinity and live by the harsh standards that society has set - Movember is helping to end this stigma.

Our Health, Work and Wellbeing teams are running two invaluable virtual sessions in the coming weeks focusing on suicide prevention and awareness.

is an international campaign that runs from 25th November - 10th December.
The aim of the annual campaign is to encourage action and awareness against all forms of violence against women and girls.
|
Each year more than 100,000 people in the UK are at imminent risk of being murdered or seriously injured as a result of domestic abuse. Anyone can be a victim, but some people - particularly women - are statistically more likely to be. However, it's also important to remember that men are not immune to being victims of domestic violence.
