The recent launch of our new, quarterly, Baby Fair events were a great success. The latest event took place on Friday 2 December at Marlborough Road Methodist Church, with over 72 families coming along. As well as play activities for families with babies and plenty of refreshments, there was chance to meet other new parents and stalls from Hertfordshire libraries, St Albans District Healthy Hub, St Albans Council Recycling Schemes, NHS screening and immunisations team and St Albans Health Visiting team.
Here’s some of the feedback that we received from the families who came.
- “Wonderful gathering, well organised. Enjoyed meeting with other Mums. Stalls were informative. Lovely cupcakes.”
- “Fun event with lots of informative information. Great opportunity to meet other mums. Thanks”
- “Lovely afternoon, friendly hosts, nice to have a clothes swap plus cakes.”
For information on when and where our Baby Fairs are running across Hertfordshire, please see here.
For all of our sessions, courses and workshops, all of which are free for Hertfordshire residents*, please see our website www.hertsfamilycentres.org or ring our friendly team on 0300 123 7572.
