Pupils in Tamworth hitting the right notes
Pupils at Two Rivers School in Tamworth are hitting the right notes, thanks to musical instruments we donated in partnership with the charity Make Some Noise.
Keyboards, microphones, and amps were delivered just in time for the pupil's end-of-term performance. These instruments were donated as part of our reuse schemes, where you can donate items at our Household Waste Recycling Centres instead of throwing them away.
For more information on how to donate or support the charity head to the Make Some Noise website.

Have your say on the future of Cannock Chase
Time is running out to share your views on the future of Cannock Chase National Landscape.
We are proud to be part of the Cannock Chase National Landscape partnership, working to protect and improve the area for future generations.
The Cannock Chase National Landscape Management Plan sets out how the area will be cared for over the next five years. The draft plan includes goals for nature recovery, tackling climate change, and making sure people can enjoy the Chase in a sustainable way. It also encourages the local community to get involved in protecting this special place.
A public consultation is now open, but you only have until Monday 27 January 2025 to have your say. Your feedback will help shape the final version of the plan, which will be reviewed and adopted in March.
Over 325 businesses supported by Enterprise Centres in 2024
In 2024, more than 325 local businesses benefitted from our eight Enterprise Centres. These centres offer affordable workspaces, including offices, workshops, and industrial units, helping small businesses grow.
Rob Mackley, owner of Red Box web design, moved his business to Shire Hall Business Centre in Stafford after going remote during the pandemic. He said: “Having a professional office space - where you can hot desk or have a small office - just allows you to go after bigger clients because you've got that next level of professionalism.”
Our centres also offer hot desks and meeting rooms, available daily, so businesses can access the perfect workspace whenever needed.
If you’re thinking of starting a business in 2025, our centres in Burton, Newcastle, Cannock, and Stafford are here to help.
