Explore the new Staffordshire History Centre
Over 1,000 people have already visited the new Staffordshire History Centre since it opened in November.
The centre was officially opened by historian and TV presenter Ruth Goodman, who spoke about the importance of history and making it accessible for everyone.
One of the highlights of the new centre is a display of puppets, toys, and games, inspired by ideas from local children. The display includes fascinating items including paper dolls made by the Masefield family who lived at Old Hall in Stone in the 19th century.

You’re not alone this Christmas
Did you know that almost 10,000 people called the Samaritans on Christmas Day last year?
The #LightUpTheNight campaign aims to show that help is always available. Libraries across Staffordshire are giving out green tea lights and posters for people to display on Saturday 21 December, the longest night of the year.
Can you shine a light this Christmas? Find out how to get involved on the campaign webpage.
If you’re feeling lonely or need help, you can call Samaritans for free any time on 116 123. Calls don’t show on phone bills, even from mobiles without credit.
