Feedback case study on Environmental Sustainability GROWTHmapper.

Lovely to hear positive feedback from Staffordshire businesses proactively achieving decarbonisation. We recently visited Wells Plastics Ltd for a  catch-up with Michael Spight. The team at Wells Plastics completed the Sustainability GROWTHmapper diagnostics and they are continuing on various net zero projects identified by the GROWTHmapper tool. It’s been fantastic working with Michael Spight and a great learning experience. Congratulations!

The funding program is delivered by Staffordshire Business and Environment Network/ Staffordshire County Council and Oxford Innovation who developed the GROWTHmapper tool.

Start your journey to Net Zero with our Carbon Tracker tool!

How Carbon Tracker works

Carbon Tracker is a simple, easy to use online tool, that calculates your organisations carbon emissions. To complete the tool, you input a full year’s data including the following:

·         Electricity consumption

·         Gas consumption

·         Fuel use (fuel oil, diesel (DERV and red diesel), petrol, LPG)

·         Biomass (wood pellets, chips, logs)

·         Water consumption

·         Company ‘fleet’ travel, include owned/leased vehicles

·         Employee ‘grey fleet’ and other travel

·         Electricity Generation

The tool uses the UK government ‘carbon factors’ to calculate carbon emissions from the data you enter. It has been developed to include the reporting information required by the UK government Environmental Reporting Guidelines: Including streamlined energy and carbon reporting guidance.

Check out our website for eligibility and details on how to apply!
