Join actor Neil Morrissey in declaring your Love for Staffordshire on this year's Staffordshire Day

Staffordshire born Actor and Local Pub Landlord Neil Morrissey has declared his Love For Staffordshire In a New LOVE LETTER Video for Staffordshire Day...and you can too

The 'Love Letters to Staffordshire' campaign is new for Staffordshire Day this year and is an easy and fun way for people to tell the world why they love Staffordshire.

Actor Neil Morrissey has recorded his own message of love to the county as this year’s Staffordshire Day approaches.

The beloved Stafford-born star, best known for his brilliant characters and work in The Syndicate, Line of Duty and Men Behaving Badly, threw his weight behind the Love Letters to Staffordshire campaign; a new way for people to show their pride in the county on Saturday 1st May.

His video Love Letter, available to view at the Enjoy Staffordshire YouTube Channel , mentions Spitfire inventor Reginald Mitchell, singer Robbie Williams, Trentham Gardens, Cannock Chase and many more things to be proud of.

And Neil has definitely shown his love for Staffordshire in more ways the one, because as well as his being busy with his successful TV acting career, he is also the proud landlord of not one, but two well-loved Staffordshire pub restaurants  - The Plume of Feathers in Barlaston, and The Old Bramshall Inn in Uttoxeter.

Why not create your own 'Love Letter To Staffordshire' for this years Staffordshire Day

Staffordshire Day organisers Enjoy Staffordshire, alongside Staffordshire County Council and other local authority partners, are hoping many more will follow in Neil's footsteps to record their own video message.

Videos can be filmed on a smartphone or video camera and can be no longer than 60 seconds. Once recorded, they should be shared on social media on Saturday 1st May, with the hashtag #StaffordshireDay.

And if you don't fancy making a video Love Letter like Neil's - then a written one would be great too.

So whether it’s on video, or written in a social media post, make sure you share yours on Saturday May 1st.
