Covid-19 has brought significant challenges to Staffordshire.
As restrictions continue to be lifted, we’d like to know about your experience so far and what has changed for you in our Covid-19 Residents Survey.
We would also like to know what you think Staffordshire’s communities and businesses need to recover and thrive.
The closing date for all completed responses is midnight, Sunday 13th September 2020.
You can take the survey here.
Students are returning to school across Staffordshire this week.
Over 200,000 car journeys to school happened every day in Staffordshire before Covid-19.
Under the current circumstances there could be increased congestion, air pollution and problem-parking around already busy schools. To help keep the area around school gates clear and safe, we're asking parents do their bit to help and walk, cycle or scoot to school if they can.
Some tips and advice:
Kickstart your health
Everyone Health Staffordshire is offering 12 weeks free vouchers for Slimming World and Weight Watchers to support the NHS Better Health campaign, which is encouraging people to kickstart their health.
To find out if you are eligible, call Everyone Health on 03330 050095 or email eh.staffs@nhs.net (you must be over 50 and restrictions apply).
People are urged to leave their full and correct details if visiting pubs and restaurants to help support Test and Trace and manage any Covid-19 outbreaks in Staffordshire.
A recent outbreak in Newcastle-under-Lyme, linked to mainly to pubs, has shown how it is important to be able to contact everyone who visited a venue as swiftly as possible.
Leaving a wrong or illegible phone number means we can’t contact you. If you do have the virus you could unknowingly pass it on to your loved ones, potentially putting the lives of the people you care about at risk.
More information on Test and Trace can be found on our website.
If you develop symptoms you must stay home for 10 days and book a test at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus or by ringing 119.
