Summary

Over the last week 400 potholes were fixed across the county as the additional £5m investment to tackle repairs continues to be rolled out.

Crews are carrying out more repairs of reported potholes and also taking the opportunity to fix any which they come across, which meet the criteria for repair, but may not have been reported.

Resurfacing has started at Five Ways island near Cannock and on main roads in Burton which will form the diversion route when the St Peter's Bridge repairs and closure begin next Tuesday.

How we deal with potholes in Staffordshire

We prioritise all potholes so that the most dangerous ones are repaired either the next day or within 7 days.

The vast majority are given to specialist teams and will be repaired depending on location and road use, usually within 90 days however this may be extended depending on resources.
