Workshops help South Staffs businesses Strive for Success

Strive for Success

South Staffs businesses looking to plot a growth curve have two opportunities to join the district’s Strive for Success programme this spring.

Led by South Staffordshire Council, Strive for Success offers one-to-one support and a workshop with a specialist growth advisor, plus access to potential grant opportunities.

Funded by the government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) the programme aims to equip businesses with the tools and knowledge needed to become investment-ready.

Cllr Victoria Wilson, Deputy Leader and Cabinet member for Business Enterprise and Community Infrastructure at South Staffordshire Council, said: “Supporting existing business growth is vital to our local economy, and we want to ensure that South Staffordshire businesses have the right support to help them grow.

“Through Strive for Success, we can provide the advice and tools to help them thrive and realise their growth potential.

“Strive for Success is delivered directly by the council, allowing us to gain a greater insight to what businesses need and want, strengthening the local supply chain and encouraging collaboration.

“Due to our unique approach to delivery of the UK Shared Prosperity Funding we are able to provide more local businesses with expert support and funding.”

Launched in October 2023, Strive for Success has provided support to more than 30 small business owners and achieved a remarkable 96% satisfaction rating for value and practical content.
