UKSPF Residual Fund – Funding Available
 South Staffordshire Council has £1.2m to support projects and schemes in the district.
The council is seeking expressions of interest from organisations who require funding for projects or schemes based in South Staffordshire.
The UKSPF Residual Fund is open to voluntary, community, public and private sector organisations
If you have a project or an imaginative idea, the council wants to hear from you.

Rural England Prosperity Fund – Funding Available
 The council has received a funding allocation of £489,384 specifically for rural areas.
Capital Funding of up to £70,000 is available to support community projects, small business growth or farm diversification.
The council is seeking expressions of interest from new, small or registered organisations and businesses in rural locations within South Staffordshire.

Have your say – business survey
 The Council has commissioned an external consultancy company to carry out some research about the challenges and opportunities for businesses and communities in several village centres in South Staffordshire.
The appraisal will focus on what makes each village centre, attractive, liveable, accessible, and vibrant.

 Applications are now open for NatWest’s Entrepreneur Accelerator programme cohort intake in September 2023.

Sustainable Farming Incentive 2023: Expanded offer to roll out from August
 The Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) 2023 will start accepting applications in a controlled rollout from August, the government has confirmed on June 21st, 2023.
The SFI will offer farmers more flexibility to choose the actions they want to get paid for. Farmers will get paid for taking actions that support food production and improve farm productivity and resilience, while also protecting and improving the environment.
The 23 actions on offer cover existing themes including soil health and moorland, as well as new actions on hedgerows, integrated pest management, nutrient management, farmland wildlife, buffer strips, and low input grassland.
Councils are encouraged to share this information with farmers in their local area
