Refurbishment underway at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre
 Refurbishment works at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre started this week and will include upgrades to the swimming pool, changing rooms, reception and gym.
As a result of the refurbishment a temporary reception has been erected which is located in front of the leisure centre however centre users should be aware of the following before visiting:
- The leisure centre will remain open throughout however the refurbishment means some changes to services and provisions.
- The centre is only accepting card payments (no cash).
- The swimming pool and pool changing rooms are currently closed and wont re-open until the New year.
- Some exercise classes may be affected with a few classes moving temporarily to our online platform.

National Fitness Day
 Wednesday, September 21st marked this years National Fitness Day and in celebration South Staffordshire Council’s leisure centres want to help raise awareness of the importance of leading a heathier lifestyle through being physically active.
As part of the campaign, we are also highlighting how #FitnessUnitesUs which promotes how physical activity can bring people together and positively impact on our physical, mental and social wellbeing.

October School Holiday Activity Camps
From Monday, October 24th to Friday, October 28th, Codsall and Wombourne Leisure Centres are providing full-day and half-day children’s activity camps for 5-14 year olds which are being delivered in conjunction with Aspire Sports. The camps provide children with access to a wide range of sports based sessions and are a great way for young people to engage in positive activities whilst making new friends. Aspire Sports provide early bird and sibling discounts, in addition to discounts for emergency service workers.
