Go wild this summmer
The summer holidays are here, it is set to be a wild one! We have searched the internet for some amazing things to do in South Staffordshire this summer without breaking the bank.
South Staffordshire is home to several commons, countryside, country parks and nature reserves which are free to enter. Here are some of them:
Baggeridge Country Park, Brockley's Riverside Walk, Highgate Common, Kingswood Common, Penn Common (Sedgley Road, Upper Penn), Shoal Hill Common, Wombrook Walk

Big Wild Sleepout
 The RSPBs Big Wild Sleepout 28th-30th July, go on a wild adventure and find out about night-time nature.
The RSPB have some great activities for you to do, from advice on how to go on a night-time nature hunt to learning about stargazing. Best part is that it is completely free!

Why not take the Big Wild Sleepout one step further and camp out overnight at Baggeridge Country Park?
Summer holiday weekends are now available for families to camp and on the evening of Saturday 29th July there will be a night-time nature hunt. Listen to bat echolocation calls with the special bat detector, look out for badgers, and safely capture moths for a close-up view.
