Hello Bermondsey and Rotherhithe!
I hope that you have all been enjoying the sunshine! We don't get much so I am encouraging you all to go out and about to all the events in this beautiful weather for as long as it lasts.
This month has had a lot going on - there was the Grenfell anniversary on the 14 June, the Finsbury Park Attack Anniversary, there was Men's Health Week, and it is Refugee Week. Today marks the 70th Anniversary of the HMS Windrush arriving at Tilbury Docks and the 70th Anniversary of the National Health Service and there have been lots of events and there are still more happening across the country.
There is still lots to come! There is the first Bermondsey and Rotherhithe Community Council Meeting for the municipal year themed Local People, Local Priorities where we will be focusing on the new Canada Water Master plan application, the outcome of the consultation on the local Community Infrastructure Levy and meeting the new ward councillors and discussing local priorities. See all the activities and events listed below and funding opportunities.
Don't forget the next in the monthly series of the Bermondsey Square Jazz Days is on Sunday 1 July between 1pm and 4pm and the Wing-It Concert at Brunel Museum.
Have a great rest of the month of June!

happenings and visual installations is inspired by the local history of the
