Finally Spring is here!! 

The next round of community council meetings will start in June 2018, if you have local issues that you think should be discussed, please let us know... the themes for the next round will broadly include: Local History; Education; Public Space; and Regeneration...

In the meantime don't forget to use your vote at the Local elections on 3 May, and enjoy the May Day and Spring holiday on 7 and 28 May!! If you are on facebook, remember to keep an eye on our page at https://www.facebook.com/PandNcommunitycouncil/

The Southwark EveryWiman’s Centre seeks to unite, educate and empower women in Southwark and the surrounding boroughs. Through our innovative, beneficial and creative classes we help change the lives of our female users regardless of their background 

Main Aims:

* To develop creativity and business skills through

Our successful sewing classes which includes art, crafts and design

* To educate our users to enter higher education

* To offer help in gaining employment

* One to One ssupport

* Boost the self-esteem and independence of our users

* Promote community cohesion by celebrating inclusion

*Encourage improvement and raise the awareness of local women

* Provide women with opportunities to develop their education

And skills

* To provide advice and advocacy on welfare, healthy living, domestic violence and housing issues particularly with refugees

AAINA Womens Group activities

AAINA is based at the Sojourner Truth Centre on Sumner Road, and provides networking and support opportunities for women of all ages.

Henna Art workshops

Weekly, starting on Wednesday 25th April at Sojourner Truth

1:00pm-3:00pm each week,

£1.00 fee for each session  and all materials will be provided.

Women only – Cycling sessions

Confidence building cycling sessions starting on Friday 27th April.

10:00am-12:00noon.
