The Council Tax Reduction (CTR) model is changing for working age people
From 1 April 2024, CTR will be based on your level of income and household make-up.
If you already receive CTR you do not need to contact us or make a new claim as you will be moved to the new scheme automatically, and your award will be shown on your Council Tax Bill.

Have your say on major play area improvements
Seven playgrounds across the city are set for refurbishment, and we want your views on the proposed improvements and designs.
The Council is working in partnership with Ground Control Professional Services team and a consultation has now launched. Plans include installing new play equipment, landscaping, renewing safety surfaces and ensuring that at least 30% of play equipment is accessible to all.
