Latest News

Dear Champions,

On Wednesday we had an interesting Forum, we welcomed Colin McAllister, Senior Public Practitioner as our guest speaker, talking about Drugs and Alcohol. Within the session, we discussed the main challenges, the negative impact of lockdown on consumption of alcohol and the challenges ahead. On a positive note, we also received an insight on the Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco strategy and the plans to address those challenges. The session included a summary of the services available in the City to support people. You can read Colin's presentation here.

In our next Forum on November 16th, we will talk about Smoking and Vaping and its the impact on our health. We will cover a summary of the situation in Southampton and discuss what support is available to residents.

Whilst I am reviewing topics for the coming weeks, do let me know what subjects you would be interested in receiving more information about, in order that I can invite guest speakers.
