Southampton City Council – Hearing Loops Grant

Deadline: 1 March 2021

A grant of up to £500 is available to small enterprises in Southampton with an annual turnover of less than £2 million or less than 25 employees and for GP surgeries in the Southampton City Clinical Group area, towards the purchase and installation of a hearing loop system. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Fund – Local Giving for Local Needs

NET Coronavirus Programme

Grants of £5,000 are now available to support local voluntary and community organisations that are helping vulnerable people impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The programme has now transitioned from the initial immediate response phase to the longer-term emergency which is directed at helping those who are suffering hardship as a result of the short and long term economic and social consequences caused by COVID-19. Small Registered charities can apply for a grant of up to £1000 to support projects that focus on supporting people who are homeless. Priority will be given to applications that help the BAME community. For project eligibility before you apply, check here.


Chestnut

The Chestnut Fund – Grant for Conservation

The Chestnut Fund is an independent charity, that makes grants available to encourage and enable community groups to carry out conservation activities. There are 2 grants available:

A Start Up Grant – Maximum of £150 is available for groups when they are first setting up and are in their first year of existence. The grant will enable them to begin practical work and will cover administrative expenses, e.g. postage, publicity, hire of meeting rooms, telephone bills and/or the first year of The Conservation Volunteers Community Network Membership, plus Insurance fees.

Support Grant - The maximum grant will be £350, available to all groups regardless of how long they have been constituted, towards the purchase of tools, equipment and training purposes. Groups within their first year can apply for both the start-up grant and the support grant.

Warburtons Community Grant

Warburtons Community Grants provide small grants up to £400 to support charitable organisations towards broader activities which improve Health, Place or Skills for families in their community. Full details of priorities and eligibility for grants can be found here.


NLF communities

National Lottery - Award for All England

Funding of between £300 and £10,000 for up to one year, is available for Voluntary or community organisations in England.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still with us, they continue to support people and communities most adversely impacted by COVID-19.

They can support you to:

  • continue to deliver activity - whether your community needs crisis response, recovery or business as usual activity
  • change and adapt, becoming more resilient to respond to new and future challenges
