Good News Story!

Church Stretton Leisure Centre NEW Poolside steps featured in the Stretton Focus Magazine! They have been really beneficial and have enabled more people to access the pool and we would like to share some recent feedback we have received about the poolside steps:   * "I absolutely love the new accessible steps! As a parent with a toddler, getting in and out the pool used to be a struggle. Now, its so easy for both of us to enter the shallow end safely. The grab rails provide extra support, which is a huge relief. Thankyou for making our swim sessions so much more enjoyable." * "These new steps have made a world of difference for me. I've always loved swimming but climbing standard ladders was becoming too difficult. The non-slip surface and sturdy grab rails give me the confidence to get in and out of the pool without fear of falling. i can now join my friends for our weekly swims with ease!" * "I want to express my gratitude for the installation of the accessible steps. They are a game changer for anyone who has mobility challenges. the design is thoughtful, and I feel much more independent when I can enter the pool without assistance. its great to see facilities becoming more inclusive!" * "As someone who participates in Exercise on Referral Swims, I find the new steps incredibly beneficial. They allow me to focus on my workout instead of worrying about how to get in and out of the pool. The steps are sturdy and very user-friendly. I highly recommend them. Thank you again to the generous grants from the Stretton Focus community grant scheme, and the Walker Trust which enabled Stretton Pool Action to buy the new easy access steps.

We are looking to recruit an exercise on referral instructor work at Bishops Castle & Church Stretton Leisure Centre on a casual basis. To help Support the delivery of the programme of exercise referral and physical activity for adults with long-term health conditions, disabilities, or other needs across our leisure facilities.  To undertake the delivery of the Exercise on Referral Scheme giving initial fitness inductions, progress reviews, supervising client’s physical activities and carrying out pre and post assessments. We are looking for an individual with personality and who possess the potential, flair, and skills to contribute to this team with energy and enthusiasm.  Please Click on the link below  for further information and to apply for the role. https://careers.shropshire.gov.uk/internal/vacancy/casual-exercise-referral-instructor-580076.html

From toddlers upwards, our Learn to Swim programme provides a learning environment that is fun and achieves maximum results.

Meole Brace Golf Course

Booking a round

Entry to the golf course is by pre-booking only. You will not be

 permitted entry without a booking.

Please call Meole Brace Golf Shop on 01743 364050 to book.

                                               Tee times available 8am – 6pm

We also have an Online Booking System in place for members who don’t have access to a smart phone. The process is exactly the same to register but you just use the link above to book rather than downloading the App.
