This email contains some important information about your recycling and waste over the Christmas and new year period.
Over the Christmas period there will be some changes to recycling and waste collection days. Some collections will be earlier than normal, some will be later than normal, and some will stay the same.
You can see the usual and revised collection days below, on the collection calendar that has been delivered to all properties, and on our website.
Don't forget. If you want to have your garden waste collected you must subscribe to our garden waste collection service. To find out more and to subscribe online, click here.
Our five recycling centres will be open every day from 9am to 5pm over the festive period BUT will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Important reminder: If you want to visit one of the centres you must book a slot in advance. For more information and to book online, please visit our website.
The recycling centres are located in Bridgnorth, Craven Arms, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Whitchurch. For more information click here.
If you are having a real tree this year - and if you subscribe to our garden waste collection service - you can leave your tree out for collection after Christmas.
Your tree can be left inside the garden waste bin (if it's taller than 5ft please cut it into smaller pieces) or can be left next to the bin.
Christmas trees can also be taken to one of our recycling centres, but don't forget to book before you visit (see above).
To subscribe to our garden waste service, please click here.
Merry Christmas, and thank you for recycling.
