Following a recent software upgrade, you will notice two new questions when you come to complete your Spring term Actual headcount, which are located in the bottom right section of the ‘Funding Details’ tab.
The new questions relate to data that will feed through to Census and is to record the number of weeks a child is expected to stretch their funded entitlement across the child’s eligibility year, in line with the parental declaration form.
The questions are as follows…
- Funded Entitlement Weeks
- Extended Entitlement Weeks
For settings that are open term time only, you just need to enter ‘38’ in both boxes and for settings that are open all year round, you would enter the number of weeks that your setting is open, i.e. 51 weeks (please see example below).
Please note: The questions are mandatory, so the Portal won’t allow you to save the child’s record without entering the data required.
The Spring term Actual Headcount opens next week (25th) and is open until the 19th of January 2025. If you experience any issues when completing your headcount, please contact NEF@shropshire.gov.uk .
